Finally got a ban-helper plugin. Don't need a full anti-spam plugin because of the low traffic, but at least this makes getting rid of the occasional spammers much easier.
I'm looking for the Artist at Tsukino-Con who sold me a pair of feathered wings. I've misplaced the business-card and wish to set up a commission. If this is you, or you know who she was, please drop me a line!
And I certainly saw you. :3 I have a distinct image left in my head of you standing to the side of the stage at closing ceremonies looking like you were the leader of a car-eared con security squad. (In other words, you looked real pro!)
In order to give our new online radio channel a shakedown, we've decided to celebrate Valentine's Day early this year with our very own hardcore radio event, Hardcore HeartBeatz! This event will span over 3 days, February 10th, 11th and 12th with over 25 hours of music from some of the best hardcore DJs and producers from around the world!
For more information on this event, click the Hardcore HeartBeatz link at the top of the site, or Click Here!
So, we've gone and made a few small changes to the website in order to trim it down and simplify it, and hopefully make things a bit easier to use:
The Live Chat and Image Gallery features have been removed as they weren't really being used, and therefore are not required. Users may continue to post images in the "Member Photos" section of the Forum under "Free Discussion".
The Calendar at a Glance and Countdown Timer have now been moved to the top of the right-hand side for quick access.
Subsequently, the Online Members section has been moved to the bottom of the right-hand side, since it is not necessarily critical information.
Various changes have been made to the Forum. For more information, please check the "Announcements" section of the Forum under "Administration".
The "Link To Us" button has been removed. (Plain text links do the job well enough as it is.)
If you have any comments, suggestions or complaints about these changes, feel free to leave a comment on this news post and we'll review them. (Because we're not Facebook and we won't do things like put a News Feed inside your News Feed, Dawg.)
We at Cosplay Victoria would like to wish everyone a Happy Canada Day! It's also a beautiful and sunny day today, so we hope you make the most of it and enjoy it!
Did you think we were going to just let Summer go by this year without running at least one cosplay event in Victoria? You better not have! We at Cosplay Victoria are proud to present our first ever Summer cosplay dance party, Take It Easy! 2011!
